I'm Kashish, an engineer with nine years in enterprise software - messaging platforms, multi-tenant SaaS and the interfaces on top of them - and the last three spent putting language models inside all of it. The brief has never changed: take a genuinely complex system and make the first two minutes of using it feel obvious.

The brief

Three habits, one job

  1. Platform engineering

    Multi-tenant SaaS, messaging infrastructure and the architecture holding both up. Systems that run for people who never chose to use them, which is a constraint that shapes every decision in them.

  2. AI product engineering

    Language models put inside software people use at work. The demo is the easy part. Making it reliable on a Tuesday afternoon, at a price the business can live with, is the job.

  3. Product thinking

    An MBA in Operations and Data Science sitting on top of the engineering. It means the business case and the code get discussed in the same meeting.
