Life always offers you a second chance, It’s called tomorrow!!
Not everyone is meant to be in your future - some people pass through to teach you something. It is better to cross the line and face the consequences than to stare at it for the rest of your life.
Not everyone is meant to be in your future. Some people just pass through to teach you a lesson.
And not everything will go the way you expect, which is exactly why you need to drop the expectations and move with the flow of life.
Remember: don’t cry over the past, because it is gone. Don’t stress about the future, because it is not here yet. Live in the present and make it beautiful. The past is long dead, and if you keep worrying at it you will not be able to enjoy the present - which is how you end up ruining the future too.
Life always offers you a second chance. It is called tomorrow.
Your time, and whose life you spend it on
Time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t get trapped by what other people think of you. Don’t let the noise of other people’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart.
Don’t let negativity harm you or break you. Have faith in yourself and be confident. Our inner voice somehow already knows what we truly want to become. Just listen to it. Make your life a canvas and fill it with YOUR favourite colours.
That inner voice is quieter than everything competing with it, which is the whole problem. It does not argue and it does not repeat itself. Other people’s opinions are louder, more frequent and more insistent, so they win by volume rather than by being right.
Which means hearing yourself is mostly a matter of leaving enough silence for it to be audible. Not more thinking. Less input.
People have all sorts of reasons for how they live. You cannot put every reason in the same box. Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced. Enjoy every moment so that you have nothing to regret later.
After all, it is better to cross the line and suffer the consequences than to stare at that line for the rest of your life.
Make it simpler than you think it has to be
First step: make your life simple. Life really isn’t that serious. We are the ones who make it hard. Your life is your message to the world, so make sure it is one worth reading.
Good times become good memories, and bad times become good lessons.
Don’t be entirely dependent on anyone in this world. Remember, even your shadow leaves you when you are in the dark.
Let yourself move to the next chapter. Don’t stay stuck on the same page for too long.
I would add one thing to that, because I have watched people mistake being stuck for being loyal. Staying on a page long after it has finished can feel like commitment - to a person, a plan, a version of yourself you promised you would become. It looks like integrity from the inside.
Sometimes it is. Often it is fear wearing integrity’s clothes, and the honest test is simple: are you still there because it is right, or because leaving would mean admitting something?
You don’t need a reason to do the things you love. Do them because you want to, and keep yourself happy.
There is always something positive inside the negative stretches. You become stronger each time. Strength comes out of every hardship, and that has certainly been the lesson for me.
So learn to see the positive side of everything. Eventually you will get where you are going.
Just remember: life fails to be perfect, but it never fails to be beautiful.
