Maybe life is uncertain for you now but you’re capable to take back control of your life!!
A positive life is something you can take control of and change from within, no matter where you are or what you do. Negative thoughts narrow the mind and hide the options around you.
We all know the distinction between positive and negative. It is like white and black, good and bad, right and wrong. So the desire to live a good and positive life comes naturally to us.
And a positive life is something you can always take control of and change from within, because you can live one no matter where you are, who you are, or what you do. Living a positive life means being optimistic, expecting success and favourable outcomes, being happy, and looking at the bright side.
Positive thinking is an optimistic state of mind that sees the good in things. A positive frame of mind brings more harmony and happiness, improves relationships and draws success towards you. The way we choose to think - positive or negative - has an enormous effect on the outcome, and it is mirrored in everything we do.
Why negative thinking narrows everything
Believing in the power of positive thinking is one of the most effective ways to change your attitude. Positive thoughts help you build life skills that last much longer than a smile.
Negative thoughts do the opposite: they narrow the mind. They keep you from seeing opportunities and moving forward, because there is always a what if running in the background.
That narrowing is worth understanding, because it is the actual mechanism rather than a metaphor. When you feel under threat, attention contracts onto the threat. That is useful when the threat is immediate and physical. It is disastrous when the threat is a difficult conversation or an uncertain month, because the very thing you need in those situations is a wide view - options, alternatives, people who might help.
Fear removes exactly the capacity the situation requires. Which is why calming down first is not avoidance of the problem. It is the first step in solving it.
The mind is a powerful tool that can make or break your life. Positive thinking is fundamentally your mental attitude - one in which you expect good results. It is the process of creating thoughts that turn energy into reality. A positive attitude looks for happiness, health and good endings in every situation.
It is not hiding
Positive thinking is not the act of hiding from life’s difficult or unpleasant situations. It means approaching those situations in a more productive way, rather than with a negative attitude. You simply believe the best is going to happen.
We should understand that it is more than avoiding bad situations. It is how you see every situation, including the unavoidable ones. It reduces the physical stress that comes from negative thinking, and it is genuinely effective at changing your life once you understand how it works.
Positive thinking affects your work, your health and your life in every direction. When you are happy and feel loved, you see more possibilities for yourself - and seeing more possibilities is how more of them get taken.
It can be changed
Having a positive attitude is something that can be changed. You do not have to live with negative thoughts. When you catch yourself being negative, change the thought.
And I want to stress catch, because that is where the work actually is. Most negative thinking never gets examined at all. It runs underneath everything, in your own voice, sounding exactly like fact rather than opinion - which is precisely why it is so persuasive.
The moment you can hear a thought as a thought instead of as the truth, it loses most of its authority over you. That noticing is the whole skill. Changing the thought afterwards is the easy part.
