Trust the vibes!!

There is only one happiness in this life - to love and be loved. Start loving the work instead of chasing the result, and let no one come to you without leaving happier.

There is only one happiness in this life: to love and be loved. And the best part is that not everyone gets to feel it.

Love is not when you only think about yourself. Love is when the other person’s happiness matters more to you than your own. There is always some madness in love, but there is also always some reason inside that madness. If someone loves you, they don’t have to fake the happiness they feel around you - you see it in their eyes without being told.

Love the work, not just the outcome

If you want to achieve something, don’t push yourself grimly towards it. Start loving the work you are doing to get there.

Albert Schweitzer said: “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”

That is exactly it. Start loving your work. Start loving what you do, and you will find that happiness from the inside.

There is a practical reason this works, beyond sounding nice. Anything worth achieving takes far longer than anyone estimates, and almost all of that time is spent in the boring middle where no result is visible. If your only fuel is the outcome, you run out somewhere in year two - because the outcome is not paying you yet.

People who love the daily work do not need the finish line to keep going. That is not a nicer way to live. It is the only version that survives the distance.

Success is no accident, after all. It is what you get from enormous effort plus genuine affection for what you are doing.

Don’t wait for anything to happen.

Make it happen.

Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love.

And as I always say, believe in yourself and have faith.

Leave people better

Spread love wherever you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. Bring a smile to people’s faces. The little bit of love you sow will bear fruit for a lifetime.

I think this is the most underrated thing on the entire list, because it is the only one where the return is guaranteed and immediate. You do not have to wait for it. The moment you make someone’s day slightly lighter, you have already been paid.

And it is genuinely tiny work. Learn the name. Ask the follow-up question. Say the compliment you thought instead of keeping it. Most people go through entire weeks without one person being specifically warm to them, which means the bar is not high and the effect is much larger than it should be.

You will meet all kinds of people with all kinds of temperaments. Some will motivate you and some will underestimate you. Don’t lose yourself in either.

Stay strong. Find the positive even inside negative vibes. Learn something. Everything teaches a lesson in the end.

Once you start replacing negative thoughts with positive ones, you will start seeing positive results.

You cannot change what happened yesterday, but tomorrow is yours. It is your call whether you win or lose it.

Smile in every situation. It makes you feel strong and your enemies feel weak.

Live life fully and keep your focus on the good.

Trust the vibes - energy never lies, after all.

Energy never lies

A last word on the title, because it is not just a nice phrase.

You usually know. Before the evidence, before anything you could explain to someone else, there is a quiet reading you take of a person or a room. And most of the time we override it, because we cannot justify it and we do not want to be unfair.

That reading is not mystical. It is your own accumulated experience of people, arriving faster than your reasoning can keep up with - thousands of small observations, processed below the level you can articulate.

It is not infallible. But it is data, and I have regretted ignoring it far more often than I have regretted trusting it.
