LIFE – It goes on!!

In three words I can sum up everything I have learnt about life: it goes on. It will not knock at your door to ask whether you have finished your tasks first.

In three words I can sum up everything I have learnt about life: it goes on.

It is as simple as that. If a person thinks he can change a mistake he made in the past, it will not happen. Yes, he can make sure not to repeat it, and of course he can apologise. But what happened cannot be changed.

Life doesn’t stop for anyone. It will not give you extra time to finish the remaining tasks.

Don’t imagine it will knock at your door and say: hello, I’m life. I want to know whether all the tasks given to you are completed. Should I wait? Should I come back once you’re done?

That will never happen. It won’t stop for me, or for you, or for anyone.

Two ways to hear that

I have noticed this idea lands in two completely opposite ways depending on the day you hear it.

On a bad day it sounds merciless. The world does not care, nothing pauses for your grief, keep up or fall behind.

On a better day it is the most comforting sentence there is. Because if life does not stop for the good things, it does not stop for the bad ones either. The worst week of your life is also subject to the rule. It also has to keep moving. It cannot stay.

Same fact. Completely different weight depending on which end you are standing at. And the fact does not care which one you pick, which is exactly why you may as well pick the useful one.

What is actually in your hands

There is nothing bigger than the human spirit. We can’t stop life, but we can enjoy it fully, live freely, and do what we want to do without endlessly calculating what might happen.

Nobody can predict the future. Damage can happen at any time, and if you spend your life bracing for it, the only thing you will end up doing is REPENTING - and I am sure none of us want that.

Life is unpredictable. It goes on. Whether good or bad happens is not in our hands. But how we behave at that very moment is ONLY in our hands.

We are the ones who make things good or bad for ourselves. Sometimes we have everything we wanted and still are not happy. Sometimes we have almost nothing and feel like we have the whole world.

It is our way of thinking.

The one thing you never get back

Here is the part I understand better now than when I first wrote this.

You can rebuild money. You can repair most relationships if both people want it. You can start a career over, move countries, change nearly everything.

Time is the only thing on the list with no version of getting it back. Not one hour. And we treat it as the most abundant thing we own - postponing calls, delaying the trip, saving the good conversation for a better moment, assuming there will be a stretch later when things are calmer.

There is no calmer stretch coming. This is it. This is the calm stretch.

Think positive. Attract positive vibes and good things will follow.

Just remember the simple rule if you want to be happy and successful: life works on a simple law - the law of attraction. So now that you know, start attracting good and positive things.

And then you are the world’s richest person!!

While it goes on

So what do you actually do with a fact like that?

Not much, and that is rather the point. You stop negotiating. You accept that the clock is not going to pause for your grief, your indecision or your unfinished business, and then you spend the time you have on whatever you would not want to have missed.

That is the entire practical content of it goes on. It is not a comfort and it is not a threat. It is just the one condition everything else happens inside.
